Spencer Patrick

Victory Word Church was founded by Rev. Spencer Patrick.  He was trained in the US Assemblies of God, and went through a year ministerial training at Global University.  He graduated from University of Washington in Seattle in 1990 as God had told him in 1983 that he would be a ‘new type of missionary’ reaching people in business and professionals.  God showed him he needed to initially be going through the world’s system. 

After UW graduation, He served three years in an Assemblies of God church as staff and later a board member.  Although credited only by the Holy Spirit, he spent 6 years in study altogether with a combination of AG and Rhema Bible Training Center backgrounds.  For Old and New Testament studies, his coursework was under Rev. Bob Yandian (a Rhema professor and bishop) and the ministry of Grace Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

After a year of service, Pastor was anointed, licensed and ordained in the second year for ministry by Dr. Jerry Savelle on September 10th, 2004.  He holds those credentials as well as with the Association of Faith Churches and Minister (AFCM) in 2005 as AFCM. 

Spencer Patrick is a pastor with a real love for people, awesome worship, and powerful anointed faith-filled preaching and teaching.  He have a love for Japan and Asia and a strong desire to encourage others to get into ministry and the other churches that are prospering under the ministry of Victory.  He holds a black belt in Judo, is a weight lifter, an experienced marksman and archer, as well as being an accomplished classical musician. He has built a business from the ground up.  Spencer Patrick is a father of three and resides with his beautiful wife in Tokyo, Japan.
